Pop your soap in the bag and use as an exfoliator. Great to hang in the shower especially if you don't have a handy place to store soap there.

Good little add on for gifts.

Sisal is made from the stiff fibres of the Agave plant so it's all natural too!

Useful practical ethical

What's there not to love, you can use all your little bits of soap with this. Less waste and you get a gentle exfoliate too. Super product, thank you!

Great personal service

Great service and great products. I love using the Beach Clean soap and the sisal bag makes it easy to use in the shower and also reduces my plastic use.

Good concept - but didn't work for me practically

I loved the concept of this and was excited to use the bag in place of regular plastic netted sponge a - at first, I thought the bag worked great, and it created a good lather with the soap (I used the Lovely Orangutan), but over a week I found that a lot of the soap was sticking against the sisal fibres of the bag and my new soap bar had shrunk in size so much where the bag 'brushes' off more of the soap than it would by just using it in your hand. I feel a bit like I've wasted a whole bar of soap! I thought perhaps I was supposed to leave the bar out of the bag every time I hung it back up to dry to stop the soap caking to the bag, but the description here does say it can be used to hang in the shower if you don't have a place to store your soap. When I eventually removed the soap bar, I was able to use the bag as a soapy sponge once or twice with all the soap residue that had built up on it alone. I find that it's easier to brush the bar against the bag and use it almost like a mitt rather than putting the soap into the bag. Would love to see a sisal mitt introduced!

eco-friendly packaging

Our primary motivation for starting a soap company was to help reduce single use plastic waste.

A plastic shower gel bottle will still exist hundreds of years after you've finished with it.

Use our soap!

We use recycled, biodegradable packaging.

We'd like to help you ditch single use bathroom plastic.

no nasties

NO SLS's, NO NASTIES, NO PRESERVATIVES, NO ARTIFICIAL FRAGRANCES OR COLOURINGS.

They are harmful to fish and other aquatic animals and pollute our groundwater - so we're obviously not using these! Neither do we use parabens, which have been linked to health issues, or chemical colourings (just to make the products look bright and whacky).

Unnecessary chemicals on my skin? No thanks.

We do use natural, skin-kind, earth-friendly ingredients that biodegrade.

no palm oil

With the negative impact that palm oil plantations are having on the environment we believe that there is not a strong enough reason to use this commodity when there are such great alternatives.

Around the world, the demand for palm oil contributes to widespread deforestation and is pushing wildlife to extinction.

Instead we use olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil and other nourishing ingredients like shea butter
and clays.

no animal testing

Animal testing is no longer permitted in Europe but many of the big brands choose to market their products to China where animal testing is compulsory.

Most of our range is vegan, although we do use honey from our own bee hives and beeswax in our BEE THE CHANGE and SENSITIVE NATURE soap bars.

We test on children, family and friends (and not under duress!).
